Safeguarding
The Safeguarding Team at Edgar Wood Academy work with all staff to promote the welfare of all students and protect them from any form of harm. All staff and students are responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of ourselves and each other.
What we do:
• Protect students from all kinds of abuse, neglect and ill treatment.
• Prevent harm to students mental health, wellbeing and personal development.
• Ensure all students grow up in a safe effective environment with care.
• Take appropriate action to enable all students receive the best outcomes.
What to do if you have a concern?
If you have any concerns about the safety of yourself or someone else, please talk to the Safeguarding Team or any member of staff.
