Business - Option Choice

GCSE Business is an exciting introduction to the world of business and how this sector influences the world we live in. Students will learn the fundamentals of business alongside how a business can be built. 

The aim of this qualification is for students to know and understand business concepts and the impact of business on individuals and the wider society. Some of the key topics covered include contemporary business issues, different types and sizes of businesses in local, national and global contexts, and entrepreneurship.

Whilst studying this course students will apply their knowledge and understanding to business decision making, including the nature of business activity, and business operations such as finance, marketing and human resources; and how these interdependencies underpin business decision making.
